Polyester (PETG)

    Primex extrudes a variety of polyester products including PETG.   Polyesters may be used for food and medical tray, cosmetic packaging, thermoformed clamshells, and blister packaging.

Our medical and food grade polyester is made from 100% virgin resins in FDA-Certified white rooms. It is suitable for gamma ray, ETO, or electron beam sterilization. 

        Sheet properties include:

• Durability to temperatures as low as -20F
• No corrosive or noxious fumes
• 100% recyclable
• Optional blue tint insures heat seal inspection of lidding stock
• FDA approved silicone coating or denesting agent.
