Press ReleaseABS price Increase for April 2010April 26, 2010 - Continued shortages in raw materials have cause allocating and force majeure within the ABS resin markets. These raw material issues have pushed ABS resin continually higher. Major resin producers have increased our resin pricing by an additional +$.14 per pound. This latest increase is in addition to all previously announced resin adjustments. Primex is therefore announcing effective with orders shipped on or after 5/15/2010 the prices will adjusted up +$.14/lb. A further note is that this is based on availability of material and orders scheduled may require adjusted pricing upward. Primex will do everything possible to avoid that possibility but because of the shortage of materials, Primex has been and continues to pay a higher than normal price for ABS materials. March 16, 2010 - Raw materials continue to rise. Additional increases for ABS have been announced. This increase is in addition to previously announced ABS adjustments by our resin producers.
