November 30, 2009 – Primex Plastics Corporation, working in conjunction with their subsidiary, O’Neil Color and Compound, announced today the commercialization of their new family of thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs). Primex will market their new line of TPEs under the name of Faraprene®. Faraprene® is currently available in five grades with a variety of performance features to provide customers with the optimum TPE solution to fit their needs. Faraprene® was designed to provide an economical solution for a wide variety of applications including, Automotive, RV, Marine, Packaging, Consumer products and Leisure.
