Job Description
We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Headquarters in Richmond, IN. This is a full-time, on-site day shift position in Richmond that handles an extremely high‑volume accounts payable workflow for multiple sites, processing a very large number of invoices each day with accuracy and efficiency. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performing accounts payable processing for multiple plant locations
• Assisting with monthly and yearly reporting
• Printing, matching and disbursing AP checks weekly
• Providing customer service to employees/vendors
• General office administration – answering telephones, directing calls, filing, etc.
• Reconciling accounts, analyzing invoices, researching and correcting discrepancies
• Providing support during month-end closing
• Daily billing
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• High School Diploma/GED required
• A minimum of 2 years of AP experience, including invoice processing (high-volume, multi-entity) and Payment Runs (ACH, Check, Wire)
• Experience with high volume purchase order 3 way match
• Financial Software experience. Microsoft D365 is a plus
• Ability to analyze invoices and reconcile accounts
• Ability to work with remote/off-site locations
• Ability to excel both in a team environment and independently
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• A professional demeanor
