Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors

Primarily used in packaging film, vapor corrosion inhibitor (VCI) additives are used to eliminate rust on metal parts during shipping. Vapor corrosion inhibitors function by volatilizing and coating the metal part, thereby stopping the reaction that causes rust.
